Living in a foreign country, we are exploring development opportunities in this new world while striving to inherit our culture. This process is both full of challenges and contains endless possibilities.

OMY provides a broad platform for everyone.

In cities like Berkeley in the United States, there are many student groups from different cultural backgrounds.

It is a great honor to continue to play for the East Asian community in OMY this year.

Gao Shihan, a sophomore majoring in cognitive science and psychology, devoted herself to it with enthusiasm.

During his freshman year, he accumulated excellent experience in the OJX department, and now he has transferred to OMY to start a new journey.

Entering the new year, if you can get a position at OMY, just like Andy Liu's job at OMY, you will have the opportunity to make many new attempts.

This reflects a continuation of some kind, from past experiences to today’s tenure at OMY, and it represents continued progress along the way and constant exploration of new areas.

There are many meaningful projects in OMY.

In order to continue advancing ASUC's several ongoing projects, we all must work together and make a concerted effort.

During the development of previous projects, a lot of experience and lessons have been accumulated.

For example, in some projects regarding manpower deployment, resource integration, etc.

We will implement more projects that are both interesting and practical. For example, in the East Asian community, there may already be many plans for education and cultural exchange in the pipeline.

This is not only for East Asian groups, but also to enrich the multiculturalism on campus.

Doing so opens up opportunities, experiences and connections between international students and the East Asian community.

Community experiences contribute to personal growth.

Some people hold specific positions within the community that are relevant to the field of brain biotechnology.

Holding this position will help promote the increase of data-based results, and also guide biological students to explore new development paths in the business field.

Outside of ASUC, rich community experiences broaden personal horizons.

In the school, various clubs are approached from multiple perspectives, each playing a unique role, creating a platform for students to show their personality and pursue different career dreams.

Members hope to discover more resources and benefits for Berkeley students.

Andy Liu spent a fulfilling year at OJX Company, and this experience allowed him to accumulate valuable experience. Now that he has joined OMY, he can play a greater role.

This resource and welfare is not only material, but also academic.

In schools with obvious STEM tendencies, it opens up a world of growth for students majoring in humanities and social sciences.

In the humanities and social sciences program of the CC department, students are able to broaden their access through various activities such as sharing resources, participating in book clubs, and listening to podcasts.

Teamwork is very important in OMY.

Everyone has their own academic fields. For example, Gao Shihan specializes in cognitive science and psychology, while Andy Liu focuses on molecular cell biology, data science, and cognitive science.

Members with different professional backgrounds work together.

In the coming semester, OMY members, I hope everyone can study happily, have fun, and write their own chapter in Berkeley.

When working on a team project, everyone brings their own strengths and contributes their expertise and networks.
